Kang-Petrov's first electromagnetic accelerator rifle brings railgun technology to the mass market. The Thunderclap's capacitor system is integrated into the rifle's stock, providing 40 shots per charge. Recharging takes 120 seconds from a standard power outlet. The weapon has no moving bolt or gas system — projectiles are loaded from a gravity-fed hopper atop the receiver and accelerated through the barrel by electromagnetic coils. This mechanical simplicity means there are no extraction or feeding failures, though the hopper is vulnerable to contamination if left uncovered.

Critics from the premium arms manufacturers dismiss the Thunderclap as a toy — its 3mm projectiles lack the penetration of larger tungsten penetrators, and the single-stage acceleration limits velocity. But for operators who want electromagnetic capability without corporate entanglement, the KPA-20E democratizes access to technology that was previously exclusive to military budgets.
