Massive open-air elevator platforms built into the sides of mega-structures and industrial towers, capable of lifting entire vehicles and cargo containers between street level and upper commercial floors. They're slow, loud, and essential — without the Freight Elevators, the upper floors of GLMZ's tower blocks would be unreachable by anything heavier than a person. The platforms have no walls, just safety rails and a prayer. Riding one up forty stories on an open slab of metal with a loaded cargo trike is an experience that never gets comfortable.
