The MediaFlow CDN-5 is Vantablack Media's content delivery infrastructure — the system that distributes news, entertainment, advertising, and social media content to every BCI and display device in GLMZ. The CDN consists of thousands of edge servers distributed throughout the city, each caching and serving content to nearby devices with minimal latency. When a BCI user accesses any media content, the request is routed to the nearest MediaFlow edge server, which delivers the content from its local cache or retrieves it from Vantablack's central content repositories.

MediaFlow is more than a delivery system — it is a filtering system. Every piece of content that passes through the CDN is scanned by Vantablack's content classification AI, which categorizes material according to Vantablack's content policies and the content access contracts of the user's governing corponation. Content that violates these policies — material critical of specific corponations, information about labor organization, independent news that contradicts Vantablack's sanctioned narratives — is flagged for review, delayed, or silently removed from the delivery pipeline. The user receives no notification that content has been filtered; their feed simply doesn't include it.

The censorship capabilities are granular and context-sensitive. MediaFlow can filter different content for different users based on their BCI identity, tier, employment, and location. A user in a Ringo-governed block might receive different news than a user two blocks away in an Arcturus-governed block, with each feed tailored to avoid content that the governing corponation has flagged as undesirable. The result is not a single censored internet but millions of individually curated information environments, each shaped by corporate interests that the user may not be aware of. Vantablack's standard content contract costs 50 Φ per user per month — a fee that most governing corponations absorb as a cost of maintaining narrative control over their populations.
