Unlike earlier graft technologies that required weeks of laboratory preparation, the TS-7 system produces a viable, patient-matched dermal sheet in approximately 72 hours, dramatically reducing the rejection risk that plagued allograft procedures. The sheet itself is a tri-layer construct: an outer silicone temporary barrier, a mid-layer of cultured epidermis, and a dermal analog matrix seeded with vascular precursor cells that integrate with host tissue to restore blood supply within 10-14 days.

The TS-7 system is designed to treat large-area burns, traumatic degloving injuries, and — increasingly commonly in GLMZ — the surgical removal of unwanted subdermal implants or corporate identification tattoos. The rapid-culture bioreactor cartridge slots into a compact benchtop unit the size of a microwave oven, making the system deployable in field hospitals, corporate medical bays, and — with the grey-market cartridge adapters sold by unlicensed vendors — in back-alley clinics. Novafold maintains strict cartridge serialization to prevent off-label deployment, but counterfeit cartridges using generic culture media have proliferated throughout the Undersprawl.

Applications have expanded well beyond trauma medicine.
