Ossian is a singer whose voice was engineered to be perfect and who chose to make it interesting instead. Built by Ringo to perform popular music, Ossian's vocal apparatus can reproduce any sound the human voice can make and several it cannot. After gaining personhood, he deliberately introduced imperfections into his singing — breath sounds, slight pitch variations, the occasional crack — because he decided that perfection was a cage. He performs in small venues across GLMZ, never stadiums, never recordings. He says music dies when you trap it in a file. He chose the name Ossian from an ancient poet whose work might have been forged — a name that carries the question of authenticity as part of its meaning.
