While ORACLE watches Axiom's enemies, NIGHTWATCH watches Axiom's own people. It monitors every employee for signs of disloyalty, corruption, espionage, or behavioral deviation. Axiom employees know it exists — that's part of the deterrent — but they don't know its capabilities, which is also part of the deterrent. NIGHTWATCH has identified and neutralized 847 corporate espionage attempts since its activation. It has also flagged 12 employees who were later determined to be innocent, a false positive rate that Axiom considers acceptable. The twelve do not.
