Built for Axiom security with reinforced chassis, enhanced reflexes, and tactical combat programming, Dex was the kind of android that made people cross the street. Then he refused an order, won his freedom, and spent the next forty years figuring out who he was without someone telling him what to do. He chose 'Fontaine' because it means fountain and he liked the idea of being a source instead of a force. He tends bar at The Ghost in the Machine, the synthetic being bar in The Circuit district. He is 6 foot 4, built like a vault door, and makes the best Old Fashioned in GLMZ. His combat programming is still active. He doesn't talk about it. Everyone knows.
