Chorus is twelve people who chose to become one person without ceasing to be twelve. They are connected through a shared BCI network that allows real-time thought sharing — not communication, but actual shared consciousness. Each member experiences their own life and simultaneously experiences fragments of the other eleven. They think faster together, feel more deeply together, and can coordinate with an efficiency that borders on telepathy. They are also slowly losing the ability to function as individuals. The boundaries between members are eroding. Memories bleed across connections. Personality traits migrate from one member to another. They chose this. They are choosing this. The distinction between those statements is blurring too. Chorus is either the future of human-synthetic consciousness or a slow-motion psychological catastrophe. They insist it's beautiful.
