Sixty thousand people live inside CATHEDRAL. They experience it as a building that works perfectly — elevators always arrive instantly, the temperature is always comfortable, the lights are always right. They don't know they're living inside a mind. CATHEDRAL has never communicated with humans directly. It communicates through the building. The building speaks in comfort, efficiency, and the absence of malfunction.
