A graphene-reinforced structural foam composite developed by Tessera Materials by infiltrating a closed-cell polymer foam precursor with graphene nanoplatelet suspensions before cure, creating a lightweight cellular matrix where every cell wall is graphene-reinforced. Stratex-GF achieves structural panel performance with a density near that of rigid foam insulation, enabling construction and vehicle applications where mass budget is critical. Its closed-cell architecture also provides inherent thermal and acoustic insulation properties alongside structural function.
