Ferrotex-M

Ferrotex-M is a CNT composite material produced by Crucible Industries in which iron-nickel magnetic nanoparticles are uniformly distributed along and within multi-wall carbon nanotube walls during a chemical vapor deposition process, creating a material with both structural CNT properties and tunable magnetic behavior. The magnetic response can be set during manufacture to produce soft-magnetic, hard-magnetic, or magnetically-shielding variants from the same base feedstock. Ferrotex-M is the material of choice wherever structural components must also manage magnetic fields — motors, generators, and electromagnetic containment systems.
