The Neon Choir
The Neon Choir is a performing arts collective of approximately 150 musicians, vocalists, dancers, and performers who produce live entertainment across GLMZ — from massive BCI-enhanced concert experiences in the Laceworks to intimate acoustic performances in Shelf bars. In a city where most entertainment is corporate-produced, algorithmically optimized, and delivered through neural feeds, the Neon Choir insists on the radical act of performing live, in person, for audiences who are physically present.
The Choir emerged from the Circuit's music scene in the 2180s, when a group of musicians who had been performing independently realized that collective organization would give them access to better venues, shared equipment, and the ability to produce shows that no individual performer could stage alone. The collective has grown from a dozen musicians to a cultural force that stages events ranging from free street performances to sold-out spectacles that rival corporate entertainment productions in technical sophistication while exceeding them in raw emotional impact.
The Choir's performances are famous for their integration of live music with BCI-enhanced audience experiences — not the corporate-standardized feed content that Vantablack Media distributes, but custom-designed perceptual enhancements created by the Choir's own technicians that respond to the live performance in real time. The result is something that cannot be recorded, cannot be reproduced, and cannot be experienced except by being there — which makes Neon Choir events some of the most sought-after experiences in GLMZ.

|
| motto | When the city sings, it sings through us. |
| ideology | Live performance is irreplaceable. In a world where every experience can be commodified, recorded, and sold, the Neon Choir creates something that exists only in the moment — a shared experience between performers and audience that no algorithm can replicate. |
| territory | Performance venues across GLMZ. The Choir's rehearsal and production space — called 'the Amp' — is in the Circuit. |
| leadership | Artistic Director Zara Park-Okonkwo, a vocalist and composer whose vision for BCI-integrated live performance has defined the Choir's aesthetic. |

| narrative function | The Choir represents the survival of live art in a world designed to eliminate it — proof that some things can only be real when they happen in front of you. |
