A wrist-mounted pneumatic launcher that fires a grappling hook with integrated motorized winch, allowing rapid vertical or horizontal traversal. The PGL-2 fires a 4-pronged tungsten-carbide hook attached to 50 meters of braided carbon-fiber cable, and the integrated winch motor can lift loads up to 120 kg at 3 meters per second. The launcher uses a compressed gas cartridge for deployment and the winch runs on a high-density capacitor that provides enough power for one full cable retraction before requiring recharge. The system is compact enough to be concealed under a jacket sleeve.
