The Wrap is a 2-meter by 0.8-meter flexible sheet constructed from Ouroboros's proprietary phase-change thermal composite — a material that absorbs or releases heat in response to temperature differential, actively working to bring whatever it is in contact with toward a target temperature range of 36°C to 37.5°C. The Cerecloth's medical application is hypothermia and hyperthermia management in field conditions, as well as burn wound covering — the sheet's temperature regulation prevents the additional tissue damage caused by air exposure and temperature fluctuation in burn injuries. A secondary application has emerged in the field: wrapping hemorrhagic shock casualties, where the thermal stabilization helps counteract the dangerous heat loss that accompanies significant blood loss. Ouroboros did not design the wrap for this use and does not market it for hemorrhagic shock, but field medics across GLMZ have documented it extensively, and the company has quietly noted the application without comment.

The name 'Cerecloth' is a direct reference to the waxed cloth traditionally used to wrap corpses — a name medics adopted with the characteristic dark humor of their profession, but one that also reflects the wrap's visual quality: matte, slightly iridescent, and conforming closely to whatever it covers. Carrying one is considered practical rather than morbid in most of GLMZ's outer districts, where temperature extremes in unregulated infrastructure zones make hypothermia a genuine field hazard.
