The Traverse Cultivator Rig is a heavy-duty ground vehicle originally designed by Ironclad Agrisystems for use in GLMZ's reclaimed agricultural zones — the vast, semi-toxic growing fields in the city's outer ring where vertical and chemical farming operations require mobile platforms capable of traversing unstable, chemically saturated soil. The Traverse is built on a six-track chassis with variable-width stance: its track assemblies can splay outward to distribute load across a wider footprint for soft ground, or contract inward for navigating narrow passages. Each track is independently driven and steered, allowing the vehicle to pivot in place, crab sideways, and negotiate terrain that would immobilize conventional wheeled vehicles. The cab seats three and is fully sealed and filtered against agricultural chemical exposure, with a positive-pressure air system that maintains breathable atmosphere even in heavily contaminated environments.

The vehicle's operational versatility comes from its universal attachment interface — a heavy hydraulic coupling system at the front and rear that accepts a standardized range of Ironclad Agrisystems implements: tillage arrays, fungal inoculation sprayers, soil compaction analyzers, and cargo flatbeds among them. In its base configuration without implements, the Traverse is simply a capable, chemically-hardened terrain vehicle with significant cargo capacity in its rear bay. This modularity has made it attractive far beyond its intended agricultural context. The sealed cab, chemical resistance, and terrain capability make it a practical platform for operating in GLMZ's contaminated industrial zones, collapsed infrastructure districts, and the outer-ring Deadlands where conventional vehicles deteriorate rapidly.

Ironclad Agrisystems sells the Traverse openly to licensed agricultural operators and leases fleet units to contracted farming collectives. The vehicle's presence in non-agricultural contexts is common enough that it no longer attracts automatic suspicion — a Traverse moving through a contaminated district is assumed to be an agri-contractor until proven otherwise, a cover that various operators have learned to exploit.
