Mireille Oduya-Chekhov is a Shelf-born vocalist and neural composer who, between 2209 and 2217, released seven albums under the name Mireille & The Hollow Saints — the 'Saints' being a rotating cast of session musicians, most of them anonymous to avoid corporate retaliation. Her music is built on a foundation of Eastern Orthodox choral tradition, Igbo ceremonial music, and a highly unconventional use of BCI composition: Mireille composes directly from neural state, recording raw cognitive and emotional architecture and translating it into harmonic structure through a custom-built interface she calls 'the Confessional.' The resulting music is, by all accounts, deeply uncomfortable to listen to — not unpleasant, but nakedly intimate, as if the listener is overhearing something they were never meant to.

In 2217, her seventh album 'Ledger of the Unnamed' was pulled from all licensed feeds within seventy-two hours of release. The official reason given was 'harmonic content exceeding neural safety parameters.' Researchers and fans who analyzed the pulled tracks found no such content. The album had included, embedded in the liner metadata, a full documented account of a Vantablack Media subsidiary's use of acoustic and neural-feed technology to suppress a Circuit-tier labor action in 2215. Mireille has not released music publicly since. Her current location is unknown. The album circulates on encrypted pirate mesh and is considered one of the most important banned recordings in GLMZ's history.
