Trees were flattened in a radial pattern extending 16 kilometers from the epicenter. Structures were reduced to foundations. Topsoil was displaced to a depth of 30 centimeters over the entire affected area. The event was detected by seismic arrays across the GLMZ and registered as a 4.7 magnitude earthquake.

There is no crater. An explosion capable of leveling 800 square kilometers would leave a crater. The ground at the epicenter is flat — not depressed, not elevated, not disturbed in the way that explosive force disturbs earth. The trees fell outward, suggesting a blast wave, but the blast wave left no thermal signature. Nothing burned. The destruction was purely mechanical — force without heat, pressure without ignition.

No weapon system in any known corponation arsenal is capable of producing this effect. Nuclear detonation would leave radiation. Kinetic bombardment would leave a crater.
