Their uniform coat reflects this. The outer shell is a deep charcoal weatherproof membrane bonded to a thermal mid-layer, rated for GLMZ's lake-effect winters and the ambient chemical mist that drifts in from the refinery districts. The Ouroboros serpent-circle is embossed on the left chest in a self-healing polymer print that resists abrasion and fading. Breast and inner pockets are reinforced with RFID-shielded lining to protect the claim tablets and biometric scanners adjusters carry in the field.

The coat is designed to be professional enough to enter a Tier 3 business lobby and durable enough to walk a flood-damaged Tier 1 basement without destroying itself. Adjusters describe this as the coat's defining tension — it must look like it belongs in a boardroom and survive a demolition site. Most field adjusters develop a specific relationship with their coat over the years, treating it as a work tool rather than clothing.
