From the outside, this looks like a well-made M65-style field jacket — olive drab or coyote tan, cotton-nylon ripstop, four cargo pockets, a hood that stows in the collar. It is not. The Drexel Armory Conceal-Plate is built around a removable ballistic insert system: soft-armor panels in the chest, back, and flanks rated for standard small-arms at close range, with rigid plate pockets that accept Drexel or third-party hard inserts. The armor adds less than a centimeter of profile and is undetectable to casual inspection. The jacket passes metal scanners unless the hard plates are installed.

Drexel Armory sells to licensed private security, bounty contractors, and Tier 3 civilians with the right permits. The jacket is also a staple of the unlicensed self-defense community, where it circulates without plates and with the insert pockets quietly removed or disguised.
