Heavy, deliberate, built to take punishment. The centerpiece is a long-sleeved work shirt in dense slate-grey canvas with a mandarin collar, the fabric doubled at the shoulders and elbows with fused patches of scrap ballistic weave — grey-black, slightly shinier than the base cloth, creating a subtle armored texture. Over it goes a full-bib dungaree in dark charcoal, the chest panel reinforced with a sewn-in plate of recovered polycarbonate sheeting — not enough to stop a round but enough to matter in a knife situation or industrial accident. The left bib strap has been replaced with a length of riveted leather, darker and stiffer than the original. Wide-leg construction allows movement and accommodates a right-leg chrome prosthetic: the outer seam of the right leg is left open and fitted with heavy-duty snaps so it can be peeled back for maintenance access without removing the garment. Boots are tall, steel-toed, lace-up in cracked black leather with a composite platform sole — resoled with industrial conveyor belt rubber, grippy and virtually indestructible. A cloth balaclava in faded rust-brown is shoved into a chest pocket. The hands are covered by thick work gloves with the fingertips cut away on three fingers of the right hand for manual dexterity. A wide leather tool belt hangs across the hips, hung with a multi-tool, two carabiners, and a looped length of safety cord.
