Over it hangs a deconstructed puffer vest, the insulation long since redistributed unevenly so it sits flat in some panels and bunched in others, creating an unintentionally textured silhouette. The outer shell of the vest is coated in a peeling anti-reflective treatment that still works in low light. Slim straight-leg trousers in dark grey ripstop are belted with a length of doubled industrial webbing, the buckle a salvaged cargo clip. Three patch pockets run down the right thigh, each sealed with hook-and-loop closures worn almost to smoothness. Feet are wrapped in thin compression socks under low-profile sneakers with thick gum soles — the uppers re-glued at least twice, the toe cap reinforced with a strip of adhesive rubber. A long rectangular scarf in faded indigo cotton, washed to near-grey, is wound once around the neck and tucked into the vest.
