The Driftclean Collective operates out of a Tier 1 basement laundry, doing alterations and suit-matching for people who need to look legitimate for legal proceedings, employment interviews, or family events. They've developed a practiced eye for pairing fabrics that read as a set under fluorescent light. The jacket is taken in with interior basting stitches that hold but won't survive aggressive movement. The trousers have a crease ironed so sharp it compensates for the slightly wrong shade of charcoal.

The Collective charges by the hour and by complexity. A basic match-and-press runs Φ8–Φ12. They keep a rack of assembled suits available for immediate loan or purchase. Regulars know to return the suit after the hearing — it goes back on the rack for the next person who needs it.
