The TCS-11 is a purpose-built projectile for the Arcturus Defense Solutions BRC-6 platform, engineered from a sintered tungsten-carbide composite matrix with an internal resonance cavity that amplifies the acoustic pre-charge generated by the carbine's barrel assembly. Upon firing, the slug exits the barrel already vibrating at a frequency matched to the target material profile selected by the operator, converting what would otherwise be a conventional heavy-caliber impact into a resonance-amplified structural failure event.

The slug's composite construction is layered: an outer jacket of hardened tungsten provides penetration mass, while the inner cavity contains a lattice of piezoelectric micro-crystals that sustain the resonance frequency imparted by the weapon's pre-charge cycle. This means the slug continues to vibrate for approximately 0.3 seconds after impact, propagating fracture waves through whatever material it has embedded in. Against personnel in hard armor, the effect is devastating — the slug does not need to fully penetrate the plate, because the resonance propagation shatters the plate from within.

Manufacturing tolerances are extreme. Each slug must be frequency-matched to its intended weapon within 0.02 Hz, which means TCS-11 rounds are sold in weapon-specific lot batches rather than universal boxes. Using a slug calibrated for one BRC-6 in another produces degraded performance at best and barrel fracture at worst.
